- Artists In Residence
- Opportunity for students to work with specialists in a variety of disciplines. Past residencies have included music, poetry, theater, astronomy, photography, sculpture, dance, puppetry, multicultural studies, environment, etc.
- Band
- Weekly lessons for 4th-8th graders, with participation in concerts and festivals.
- Book Club
- This club encourages students to develop the essential skills of reading carefully, listening intently, and speaking persuasively.
- Challenges in Math/Logic and Language Arts
- Chris Anderson facilitates lunch/recess sessions for accelerated students who could benefit from enhanced learning opportunities.
- Chess Club
- Open to all grades, the club teaches the basics as well as more advanced strategies for playing chess in a fun, no-pressure environment.
- Environmental Learning Center
- 6th graders spend time at an ELC during the school year, supervised by St. Mark's staff and parents.
- Mad Science
- Provides students with fun, entertaining, and educational activities in science.
- Project Omnibus
- Special classes for students of high potential. 5-6 week sessions in areas such as animal behavior, economics, art appreciation, etc.
- Quiz Bowl
- Quiz Bowl is a rapid-paced game that pits teams against each other testing their knowledge of history, math, science, geography and current events.
- Scouts
- Dedicated to building character, leadership, values, social conscience, and skill for success to students of all grades.
- Scrabble Club
- Middle school students can participate in scrabble games.
- Special Education
- Provided by the Public School District in accordance with state and federal laws for eligible students.
- Student Council
- Opportunities for leadership in the areas of school spirit and service.
- Title 1
- A federally funded program offering remedial assistance in math and reading for qualified students.
- Tutoring
- One-on-one tutoring by Learning Specialist Chris Anderson and by parent volunteers.
