Thank you to Class of '59
Thank you, Saint Mark's School class of 1959 for your generous gift of an astounding nearly $6,000 at your 50th class reunion.
Thank you, all who contributed! Your gift supports the high quality education and community that continue to sustain children with food for thought and food for the soul. Current staff and students of Saint Mark's School are glad to have the support and encouragement of alumni and friends.
For those unable to attend the night of the reunion party, alumni went on a tour of the school. It was a great gift for me, to be able to share a stroll down memory lane with you. Some would walk along and tell me what rooms were used for, or which teachers taught where. Others would stop and laugh or reminisce with their classmates. Thank you for sharing your memories with me. Your experience at Saint Mark's School has enriched mine.
Alumni came together for dancing, music, and -- most importantly -- connecting with each other again. After eighth grade, students spread out to different high schools; some wouldn't see each other again for these 50 years. For those who moved away from Merriam Park, it was a return to the neighborhood of their most formative years.
I was honored to be included in the festivities and share in your memories. Thank you, again, class of 1959.

Join us for "Family Night Out"
Dear Saint Mark's Alumni,
You are invited to join Saint Mark's staff, school and parish families, and other "Markers" for "Family Night Out". This program was started by Saint Mark's School Development Office in 2004 and has been both fun and successful. It is designed for current, past, present and future "Markers" to get together a couple of times a month. It's a great opportunity to mingle, talk, get to know one another and enjoy some great food. By attending "Family Night Out," you are supporting Saint Mark's School and local area eating establishments. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to our school.
Check the school calendar to view upcoming dates, times and locations. This allows you to always have the latest information from school. It couldn't be easier!
Remember, a percentage of the total meals sold at each "Family Night Out" brings money directly back to Saint Mark's School. What a great opportunity to go out for dinner while supporting your school and local community at the same time. Please feel free to invite your family and friends and join us at our next "Family Night Out"!
