The 2023
St. Mark's Parish Festival

Festival & Gala

Take a break from the autumn chores and join your parish family for the Parish Festival on Saturday, October 7. Live music, games of skill and chance, a silent auction, church tours and a dunk tank are just some of what’s in store. The festival will run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on the parish grounds at Dayton and Prior avenues. It will be followed that evening by a swing dance in the parish gym to the live music of the NorthStar Big Band.

The festival will have something for everyone, from the giant slide and obstacle course to children’s games to the two-person cornhole tournament for adults. Try your luck at bingo or take a guided tour of our historic church. Two polka bands will perform, and parish VIPs in black robes will be sitting high above the dunk tank, daring all comers to just try and put them in the drink.

The Thirsty Lion will be pouring wine and beer. Festival booths will be serving up all sorts of refreshment, from bratwurst to cheese curds, chicken fingers and fries, egg rolls, tacos and homemade pies.

Watch these pages in the weeks ahead for a full schedule of events. In the meantime, visit the Signup Genius at https://www.stmark.xyz/festival to see how you can help by volunteering to work an hour-long shift at the event.

And for the amateur bakers among us, consider contributing one of your homemade pies to the parish festival pie booth.
